Information for Police Clearance Certificate

Police Clearance Certificate is a document that is issued by the Norfolk Island Police Services, certifying that the applicant has never partaken in any criminal activity that led to the involvement of the Norfolk Island Police , and is also required when a person applies for an immigration status to other countries. Person applying for Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) are required to state the period of stay in Norfolk Island. Documentary proof of stay is to be provided. First Entry and Last Exit date STAMP is also required. All pages of VISA (Colour Copy). It is issued to any individual who reside more than 6 months in Norfolk Island.

Procedure of Getting Police Clearance Certificate

Applicant should Completed Norfolk Island Application Form (Personal Particular). Obtain a full set of fingerprints certified from our Organization. The applicant must submit a set of his/her fingerprint impressions taken by a qualified Fingerprint Officer at our Organization. The original of the fingerprints must be posted with your completed application form. The current processing time for a routine Criminal Record Check or PCC is approximately 15 working days from the date it is received by Criminal Record officers. The Norfolk Island Police does not send the certificate via email or courier. Then Norfolk Island Police sends the PCC to our Organization within 25 working business days and we will forward it to you with in a short interval of time, via courier.

Documents required for Police Clearance Certificate

  1. A request letter stating the reason for the Criminal Record Check Certificate.
  2. Obtain a full set of fingerprints duly attested by our Organization.
  3. Two recent passport size photographs.
  4. Self-attested photocopies of your passports and another Identity document.
  5. A detailed covering letter stating the period of stay in Norfolk Island and need for the said certificate.
  6. Completed Application Form (Personal Particular)
  7. Application Fees

Processing Time

We will give the original certificate in 25 working days under normal mode of processing. (The processing time will increases if a person was ever charged by the police)
