Police certificates are issued based on information provided to the Embassy by the Afghan National Police (ANP) authorities in Afghanistan, and takes approximately one month to be processed. Police Clearance Certificate certifying that the applicant has never partaken in any criminal activity that led to the involvement of the Afghan National Police (ANP), and is also required when a person applies for an immigration status to other countries. Person applying for Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) are required to state the period of stay in Afghanistan. Documentary proof of stay is to be provided. First Entry and Last Exit date STAMP is also required. All pages of VISA (Colour Copy).

It is issued to any individual who resides for more than 6 months in Afghanistan.


Procedure of Getting Police Clearance Certificate from Afghanistan

You will need to apply to the nearest Afghan Embassy or Consulate and write a letter requesting a police clearance certificate. There is no specific form to be completed. You will be issued a letter from the Afghan Embassy or Consulate, which should be submitted to authorized agency office for processing your application.
