Information for Police Clearance Certificate

Police Clearance Certificate is a document that is issued by the Royal Thai Police Headquarters, certifying that the applicant has never partaken in any criminal activity that led to the involvement of the Thai Police, and is also required when a person applies for an immigration status to other countries. Person applying for Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) are required to state the period of stay in Thailand. Documentary proof of stay is to be provided. First Entry and Last Exit date STAMP is also required. All pages of VISA (Colour Copy).

It is issued to any individual who resides more than 6 months in Thailand.

Procedure of Getting Police Clearance Certificate

Applicant should apply with Completed Thai Application Form (Personal Particular). A set of 10 fingerprint impressions on prescribed fingerprint form will be taken by a qualified fingerprint officer at our Lab and duly attested by Our Organization. The original of the fingerprints must be posted with your completed application form. Applicants with no criminal record, or behaviour endangering peace and order or security of the State, will receive a police clearance certificate within three weeks. The certificates will be posted to the forwarding address as indicated by the applicants in the application.

Documents required for Police Clearance Certificate 

  1. The application form for Thai clearance certificate containing the information of applicant.
  2. Full set of fingerprints of both the hands obtained from the applicant’s at our lab on Thailand Police fingerprint form.
  3. Self-attested photocopies of your passports.
  4. Two recent passport size photographs
  5. Completed Thai Application Form (Personal Particular).
  6. A detailed covering letter stating the period of stay in Thailand and need for the said certificate.

Processing Time

We will give the original Police Clearance Certificate within 2 weeks. Applicant with no criminal record, or behaviour endangering peace and order or security of the State, will receive police clearance certificate within 7-10 working days.

250 $ (150$ Agency Fee + 25$ Return Courier Charges
+ 25$ Return Courier Charges + Fingerprinting Fee and Processing Charges)
Payment is non-refundable once the application is processed.

Police Clearance Certificate Check-list

Before leaving our office please verify the check-list that documents in order-

  1. Completed Thai Application Form.
  2. Self-attested photocopies of your passports.
  3. Document (s) certifying you are working, were working are or living in Thailand
  4. A Thai work permit (if available)
  5. Two recent passport size photographs.
  6. Two full sets of fingerprints.
  7. All copies of documents must be certified.

    I worked in Thailand from May 29th 2012 to July 28th 2017. I have SINP Approval for PR in Canada and for that purpose I need to submit police clearance for Thailand as well. Pls help me and advice how to go about this.. ?

    Dear Sir/Madam,I have received an ITA from CIC for Canada PR visa. However, I have stayed in Thailand for more than 1 year. Now, I am in India and have to submit Thailand PCC along with all other documents. Kindly let us know the procedure to get the PCC from Thailand and charges applicable. Also, please confirm is it needed to provide an request letter from CIC to get PCC from Thailand.Appreciate a quick response.Thanks . ?

    Good morning!I am Mr. Craig Reynolds. I am an English teacher here in Thailand.A few years ago, my wife and daughter had come to stay with me on dependent visas (Non O) visas f or 5 years.They were here in Thailand for about 4 to 5 years after which they left for India.My wife is now applying for a job in Isreal for which she needs a police clearance certificate from Thailand.Can I get one on her behalf without her coming here?Please could you tell me how to go about it.Thank you.Craig. . ?

    Dear Fingerprint Expert Team, I would like to send my fingerprint via livescan to the US in order to apply for licensure in the US but now I am in Thailand, I have been searching for the service but could not find one.
