Job Responsibilities

You must be able to:
  • Analyze fingerprints, both manually and using software to identify suspects and criminals.
  • Use specialized software and equipment to enhance, compare, and examine prints.
  • Prepare detailed reports and testify as an expert witness during legal proceedings.
  • Collaborate with other forensic and legal professionals if required.
  • Stay updated on forensic document examination techniques and technologies.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in forensic science or a related field.
  • Specialized training in fingerprint examination techniques.

Experience Requirements

  • Entry-level position; prior work experience in fingerprint examination or related field is not necessary.
  • Preference will be given to candidates having proficiency in using fingerprint comparison software and equipment.
